question. Adam Carroll is an author, keynote speaker, and documentary filmmaker who's focusing

his financial literacy junkie status directly at the student debt crisis. Adam has spoken to over a half a million

people carrying a positive message of financial education and empowerment. He is a two-time

TEDx speaker and has been featured in media outlets like CNBC, Fox Business News, and MSN money.

His college debt-focused documentary broke, busted, and

disgusted came out last year and parents are already calling this a must-see for high

It is something I'm constantly worrying about because I've got two little ones, and I don't want to send them into this mess either. So, you know, let's talk about that tonight. You're trying to shed some light on a really difficult problem with the student debt crisis. When did you

decide that this was a mission that you were really wanting to dive into? Well, when I left college,

I was a debt statistic myself. Andy, I had $20, several thousand dollars in student loans and I had $8,000 in

credit card debt. I was a rich college kid

and I lived like a rich college kid. And then I got out. I married an insanely intelligent
