0:52.9	Back in episode 52, I told you the incredible story of Apollo 11's mission to the moon.
1:01.1	That story was full of heroine adventure, hair-raising danger, and historically show-stopping

1:08.4	If you have not listened to that episode yet, I highly recommend that you do so.
1:14.7	Well after the Apollo 11 landed successfully on the moon in July of 1969, Apollo 12 headed
1:23.9	towards the moon in November of 1969.
1:27.9	Although Apollo 12's launch was a harrowing experience, it was struck by lightning twice
1:36.0	after the take-off, but it did successfully land two men on the moon.
1:41.9	So those two moon landings allowed the men on board to get out and walk around on the
1:46.8	moon's surface and to collect geological samples to bring home.
1:51.6	In today's episode, I'm going to tell you about another moon mission, where the Apollo
1:57.8	11 and 12 missions each successfully landed two men on the surface of the moon and then
2:03.6	brought them home safely, the Apollo 13 mission did not make it to the moon.
