And the Philadelphia Eagles lose to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night football so, so close to doing an emergency pod. But we are here the next day recording, ready to break it all down. We have not talked to Max at all. We made a rule. He left the part of my take group chat. He also left the group chat with myself, Big Cat, and Jerry, and he has been off to work. So we're just talking about what happens in part of my take group chats now. We're just we're just we're just releasing screenshots now. |
| 2:45.2 | Of you leaving? |
| 2:46.2 | That was funny. |
| 2:47.7 | I thought that was okay. |
| 2:49.2 | That you didn't think that was funny. That's so that's the angle you're gonna come with. That's not just max left the group chat. It didn't have any other words to it. Did you think we were gonna bring that up on this show? I always thought screenshots of the group. |
| 3:03.8 | It wasn't a screenshot of anything that was said. |
| 3:07.2 | It was just Max has left the conversation. This is a sad stretch. Max, was that your big move? Was your big move here? I didn't even thought about it until you brought it up again, but I was mad about it last night. Let's talk about the game, Max. |
| 3:25.3 | Let's talk about the game. |
| 3:26.4 | Yeah. |
| 3:27.4 | I don't think people don't want to listen to us bully you about the Eagles. |
| 3:31.0 | They want to hear our analysis of the game. |
| 3:32.5 | Yeah. |
| 3:33.5 | So Max, real quick question, because there was a moment when you left. So you left the part of my tape group text, then Jerry O'Connell left PFT Texan said, |
| 3:43.5 | did we win fantasy? |
| 3:44.7 | And then you left that group text. |
| 3:46.2 | I was thinking about starting to text every group text we were in together. Would you have left them all? Like if I had texted in the Stel blue text, you would have left it. Yes. You just would have left everything. There's a button on your phone you can press and it is do not disturb. And then you turn that into, because Jerry kept adding me back. so I did end up that to the Jerry O'Connor one. Okay, you can do that for your whole phone though. There's also I needed I need there's a do not disturb option for life which is just going to sleep. Yeah, that's impossible. Close your eyes. Yeah, go to sleep. Okay, so yeah, let's talk about the game because it was the Chargers is a crazy game. Tonic credit Justin Herbert. He just gets his ass kicked every time he plays. He was sacked seven times. The Chargers defense played phenomenal. And the chargers winning was enormous because I was looking at it this morning. It this is all under the presumption that the Colts knows dive, which we'll talk about Phil Rivers in a second, but the Colts are in some tough deep waters because they have a really tough schedule. And Daniel Jones has officially a torrent of killies. So the Chargers winning means that if they just win one single game, which would be week 18 against the Broncos, where the Broncos might be sitting everyone, they would get in over the chiefs. So there the chief have a path now that is very, very precarious and the chargers feel like they have a string to hold on getting into the playoffs and Justin Herbert, just an absolute gamer. Cameron Dicker, who I didn't realize is the most accurate kicker of all time. Well, that's changed like four times in the last five years because it was Justin Tucker for a while. I think then young way coup took it. Yep. It might have gone back to Justin Tucker and then now Dickers got it. It's just whoever the most recent good kicker is has that record. And then we had Jim Harball with a great quote after he said, this just tells you how big this game was. He said he'd put it in the discussion of the birth of my seven children, my marriage, you know, in the conversation just joyful, joyous, and the biblical definition of that is just overflowing with joy. That's a gap. That was what he needed. That's how he felt after this game. That's how much it meant for the chargers to have a tough schedule coming up and winning this game was crucial for them to secure a playoff He was a a gape agape as fuck after the game when he saw Justin Herbert on the field after he looked at him And I think in Harbaugh's brain Justin Herbert is no different from his sons Mm-hmm. The look that he gave him after the game was like a proud father. You did it son. I'm so happy for you. And Justin Herbert is tough as fuck playing with broken hand. He did. I think everybody that watched him that first quarter could identify with him. He had like a cast on his hand. And if you ever have an injury, you just can't like stop touching it. Yeah. And just like noticing it with your other hand. And he was just doing that to his own hand. Obviously in pain when he fell on it, but then in the fourth quarter, he was like, you know what, fuck it. |
| 6:48.1 | I'm just going to run with the football because he was just doing that to his own hand obviously in pain when he fell on it. But then in the fourth quarter, he was like, you know what? |
| 6:47.2 | Fuck it. |
