been a lot of fun so I guess can you give us your your quick story who you are

and yeah so so I'm an immigrant, born in the Netherlands,

immigrated when I was six, ended up in Denver, Colorado,

and we struggled, struggled a lot growing up and my mom was a bit of an entrepreneur so she

babysat kids so we'd have enough money to eat with her babysitting money she

invested in the stock market successfully with no formal education also bought

real estate so her first real estate acquisition was right across street she bought a

house paid 30 grand when I was about 14.

When I was 17 she told me she'd made $20,000 in her sleep, had gone up in value.

From that moment on I knew I was doing real estate.

I'm like screw college, I'm going to do real estate I was a capitalist I

wanted the nice cars and the hot girls and all that stuff back then and so I got into

real estate and fast forward to today I've owned a couple thousand houses

that I rented long term.

I own thousands of apartment units now in 2006 my net worth went up 17 million dollars while I slept and I thought I was

unstoppable thought it was a real estate God and you know when that happens good has a
