Well, hello there, my friends. I am Dave Holmes. Welcome once again to Troubled Waters, the show that treats popular culture as the most important kind of culture because, well, usually it's the least depressing, but who knows anymore?

You know, in the before times, Troubled Waters would pit two teams of comedians against each other in a pop culture battle royale. But do you want to be in a

studio with people? I don't. So now what we're doing is we're having two people. Each comic will

be called upon to use their smarts, their rhetorical skills, maybe the college degrees they're

still paying off to earn the coveted troubled waters title,

Pundit Emeritus. The PE title automatically gives a person's opinion on, well, let's say Garth Brooks's drive-in concerts more weight than a civilians. Have you been to one of those

concerts? Neat stuff, cool stuff, fun stuff. Let's meet our contestants.

Thanks for having me. Daily episodes. Yeah, it's, uh, it's, I think it's helpful, uh, for everybody,

they go through day by day of wandering. I think the most first thing everybody does when they wake up is go,

uh, what the hell happened yesterday. Yeah. And you check your phone and you see everything that's happening.

You go, I don't know what to do with this energy.

You go to work and you're awkward and quiet to talk about stuff.

So I think we had a great idea of just every day talking about what's going on with us,

going on in the world and stuff, and then break it up with gaming and having fun and positivity.

I like that. The and having fun and positivity. I like that.

The world needs fun and positivity.

And, well, I mean, gaming I'm not sure about.
