Bloom and Grow radio and yesterday we talked about Light, just basically the

101 of it. You know, what are the best facing windows?

What does bright indirect light really mean? How does it change throughout the seasons?

And today we're tying that to probably the, I guess you could say it's the second most important

element when it comes to plant care because without light really nothing's going to happen.

And that would be water.

And it's probably the one that we both get the most questions on because

watering is just such a tricky element when it comes to plant care, especially as you're in your first

season of growing outdoors or your first couple plants growing indoors. So I figured why not bring Maria on to have

her shed some light on it. I was going to say shed some water but that doesn't make any

sense at all.

And I love that you said this light and watering the 101 you got to get the

101 of those two things down and then you're gonna really set yourself up for

success and when I was still a plant killer there were a lot of things I learned in those first few

months of actually learning how to take care of plants regarding watering that were huge

game-changers for me. So the first thing with indoor plants that I think made a big change for me and my plants is water your plants thoroughly but not necessarily frequently.

So with house plants, the number one cause of house plant death is over watering and I think it's sweet because I think a lot of times it's very well intentioned we get this plant we bring home, we're so excited about it, we want to care
