Imagine that it is 1875 and you live in Seville, Ohio.

It's a pretty quiet town, about 40 miles from Cleveland.

Except one night, you get an invitation to a party.

You hit your horse and wagon and you set off.

When you arrive at the address, there's a wide field, a barn, and up on the hill, a house.

As you step out of your wagon and climb the front steps, you also notice that it's not

a normal house.

For one thing, the door knob comes all the way up to your chest so you have to reach up

to grab it.

You walk into the main room and you notice something else odd.

Nobody at this whole party is sitting down.

And it's not for a lack of chairs.

There's a rocking chair in the corner, but this is a big rocking chair.

So big that in order to get into it, you would have to climb up the rungs like a child

at a jungle chair.

So you stand.

But one person moves across the room with ease.

It's the host of the party and she's heading towards the rocking chair.

She sits down, no climbing required, and smiles down at her guests.
