What's up? This is Ross and before today's season one recap and refresher I wanted to make a few announcements related to our upcoming coverage of House of the Dragon season two.

First for those of you who are new here's a little background on our podcast.

We started oysters, clams, and cockles back in 2016 with coverage of season six of Game of Thrones,

providing a companion podcast for each new episode as they released.

We did the same thing with season 7 and then between season 7 and 8, we took on what we labeled

the Knights re-watch, rewatching and creating a companion podcast for every single episode of

seasons one through seven in preparation for the final season. Of course we then

provided a companion podcast for every single episode of season eight and

then eventually did a rewatch of season 8 as well

to complete the night's rewatch. Suffice it to say, my co-host Barrett Dudley and I have spent a considerable amount

of our adult lives discussing the happenings in

Westeros and are extremely excited to be your go-to companion podcast for House of

the Dragon season two. This podcast is produced by Boland Media, my company

running of Austin, Texas by a small team of four full-time employees.

We are an independent media operation with no outside funding or influence, so your support means a great deal to us and our ability to continue doing what we love for a living.

Barrett has a full-time job outside of doing this podcast, but continues to honor us with his presence every week, and

for that we are very thankful. Neither of us has read the book

Fire and Blood which House of the Dragon is based on in an effort to keep our

takes pure so that we can enjoy the story as it comes. That's the angle we've chosen to take,

and we ask that you respect it.
