And welcome back to our coverage of House of the Dragon.

Today we're talking about episode five of season one, we light the way in which we get the wedding between Rainira and

Lainer with only one death week. The Dothraqia would consider this a doll affair. They would have

been very, very disappointed. But thankfully, I wasn't.

I thought it was another solid episode.

At some point, I guess we'll do an episode ranking.

You know, we'll break it down to pure numbers maybe at the end of the season.

But it hasn't been an episode so far that dipped below good and mostly great.

Yeah, no, I'm in the same position as you.

I just think I'm enjoying these episodes more and more,

or at least I'm just being further and further sucked into the story being told. But it just kind of keeps hitting these out of the park. Very similar to the Hunt episode, I love having another big

set piece that isn't a battle that kind of drives everything going on. Yeah, agreed.

It was a great buildup to the wedding.

You know, our favorite thing in Westeros is always a wedding.

They were, you know, in the behind the episode,

they were definitely playing with that self-consciously,

as you kind of have to.

Like, you know, you can roll your eyes at some direct references to thrones

that pop up here and there, but that's an expectation so built in
