It's the season 2 finale.

Many plots come to a head, a turning point, if you will,

or many of those plot lines, while others are just getting started.

There's a big power shift as the Greens struggle internally

while the blacks seem to reunite and rally together.

For now, there's potential issues down the road with

some of the new additions to their team, but for the moment it's going all right.

As Ryan Condol said, for the start of the season,

the season is going to feel like an early game of throne season,

less flash, more character development, more set up.

It certainly had that. Season 3 is primed to be a lot like

a game of throne season 3 or book 3 of a song of ice and fire when a lot of those

big setups paid off. And no episode carries the weight of the season's expectations like a finale does.

And while this episode wasn't originally planned to be a finale, There's a little bit of shenanigans and the

writing side of the HBO's production and their demands for how many episodes would be

in the season. It certainly has the setup of a finale and the end episode montage is very worthy of

finale that's the kind of thing you often see when there's gonna be a big break

you see a lot of you kind of remind yourself where you're at with a lot of

different plot lines get a little view over here a little view over here kind of just check in with everything that definitely has the feel of a finale now no episode of House of the Dragon to date think, has had more supernatural elements or at least overt

supernatural elements and a lot of the existing supernatural plots in particular came to a head,
