uh, oh, uh, oh, oh, Last episode we had duty. We had duty. Duty is sacrifice Lord Craigen told, and this week that second part, the sacrifice, really hits hard.

It's a sacrifice to the God of politics, a ruthless, capricious, and thankless deity,

or perhaps we should say the god of power.

But this episode and that concept also explores what duty means.

Not all facets of it, mostly these extreme versions, the kind stretched to the point that it may no longer

resemble duty, but it certainly retains the concept of sacrifice.

Aegon believed it's his duty to kill the murder of his child, even if it meant killing

innocence.

Arguably that's revenge, not duty, but again, it's all where you're sitting.

Otto clearly disagreed with that logic,

and thinks keeping the peace is their primary duty,

even though he's got a lot of blood on his hands

for what's happened to date.

Allison and Helene's duty in this episode is to make their very real grief, normally a private thing as public as

possible. Kristen Cole certainly has a take on duty here, much to the dismay of Sir Arrick and his twins are Eric
