Oh, oh, oh, oh, Oh, A Sun for a Sun for a Sun. A loaded title with some clear meanings and some not so clear.

One of those references is the old biblical line

an eye for an eye which is fitting since that is what Aeman wanted. The actual

lesson though is not to engage in eye for an eye behavior.

That's the lesson of what you're not supposed to do.

You're supposed to turn the other cheek, forgive and forget, but that's obviously not going to happen here. Very little of

either forgetting or forgiving seems to be on tap for the near future. Mercy is in

short order. All must choose and even neutrality

might be dangerous. If you're not with us, you're against us. The war hasn't progressed to that stage yet, you can see it kind of going that way, you know, it's already the signs of

of it becoming a very hated, hateful, angry, bitter engagement are there already and you can guess

there but this episode also had a ton of callbacks and Easter eggs especially to

Game of Thrones season 1 episode 1, but also to House of the

Dragon season 1 episode 1.

There's also quite a few direct lines from the books and a few other references as well. In short, there are probably quite a few things you missed.
