the very first episode of House of the Dragon and I'm so excited it's been a long time

obviously since I've podcasted about Game of Thrones been a while since I've done an

after show for a TV show that I loved hint um I like to get this out of the way by the way

especially if you're not familiar with my content this is an after show by somebody who loves Game

of Thrones as a TV series and knows next to nothing when it comes to the Game of Thrones literature

I definitely don't know anything about the fire and blood book so just so you know

I am only coming from the standpoint of somebody who loves movies who loves television and loves

the Game of Thrones TV series just want to make sure you know that before we dive in and I'm

filming a little thing for my social media that's why I'm sitting awkwardly but anyway that's

done I already put that to bed so yeah I've got my notes up here actually I don't I forgot

to open my notes um I'm gonna get that going real quick but I am sitting here on a Monday

evening I've watched the episode twice by now and I feel like I got a pretty good idea how I

feel about it my thoughts and feelings on the story moving forward and the best thing honestly

is I've had very little interactions with the fandom online like outside of the rotten tomato

score for the most part I've talked to a couple of people at work today who saw the episode I feel

like the general consensus is that this is just a lovely start back into um

Westeros and just the mythology the lore it just made me happy watching this last night I

watched a little bit late I didn't have to deal with any of the um the issues with HBO Max I

saw that it crack oh maybe not HBO Max but whatever app was crashing I saw that so some people

were having issues but that's like fun in a weird way because you know like everybody's kind of
