Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of NerdSoup, I am Bo Oliver, joined

here today with Aaron the NerdSoup Monkey and we are back to review how to the dragon episode

6, the princess and the queen, taking the title from George R. Martin's novella that originally

covered this story.

And I think it was a perfect title for this episode, it focuses on the relationship between

Reneer and Allison, 10 years later, where they stand, how things have changed not only for

them as characters, but the dynamics of court.

And I thought it was a really, really strong episode, the directing by Miguel Sapochnik

will definitely get into that, but some great one takes development of the newer characters

as it pertains to, you know, characters forming bonds with their dragons and learning about

their future responsibilities, all that stuff was really, really strong.

But Aaron, what did you think about this episode?

No, yeah, it's another great episode and I feel like every week it keeps just getting

better and better and building off the previous weeks and it's kind of crazy to say that

like this is the beginning of like the show now, but yeah, it feels like a premiere episode

of sorts, because it's almost like mid-season break but there was just no break in between

because of the time jump and the character changes, so yeah, that's the big thing.

I think a lot of people grew attached to Millie Alcock or Emily Carey as their roles

as Allison and Renera, but I think Emmadarcy and Olivia Cook both showed that like, yeah,

we can play these characters too very well.

And it was such a seamless transition, like it took me two seconds from the first time

I saw them on screen to be like, oh, these are just, these are these characters now.
