This Supreme Court is gonna take up the case finally of NCAA players making millions

for their schools but not making any money themselves.

I wonder if that's the end of the road of that whole thing.

It will be fundamentally changed.

It's hard to imagine, I'm not a lawyer so I don't know what the specifics of the law

are and everything like that.

It's just hard to imagine that they don't come up with something where it says, nah,

you can't have coaches that make $8 million a year and the school gets this many million

dollars a year and these people get nothing.

Well if I'm an up and come in college coach, I'm terrified by this because it's a simple

business equation of you can expect a certain amount of revenue and your costs are what

you determine to be necessary to keep that revenue flow going.

You've got program costs obviously but in terms of payroll, all you got is the coaching

staff and the training staff and not the players.

I don't know if you've ever seen an NBA payroll, the players are the ones getting paid.

The coach is making $8 million.

It's just a function of, look, all we got to do is pay the CEO in a couple of his assistants.

We don't have to pay any of our line workers.

Well the strongest argument that I heard put forth yesterday on the other side was we're

afraid we're afraid it will have an effect on their education.

If that's your best argument, you're going to lose.

Because come on now.
