0:00.0	Good evening, the House Intelligence Committee's impeachment report is out.
0:04.4	And if you thought you already knew everything that would be in it, well, there's more.
0:08.2	The committee voted to adopt it tonight as expected along party lines.
0:11.8	The bottom line of the report is this, quote, the impeachment inquiry has found that President
0:15.9	Trump personally and acting through agents within and outside the U.S. government solicited
0:21.3	the interference of a foreign government Ukraine to benefit his election.
0:25.5	Or his reelection, I should say.
0:27.4	That's the part that we expected.
0:28.8	What we didn't know was that the report would cite newly revealed hard evidence, phone
0:33.4	records, making it clear that this is not merely about that phone call the President made
0:39.0	on July 25th during which he asked Ukraine's President to investigate the Biden's and
0:43.9	that conspiracy theory of absolving Russia in the 2016 election.
0:48.1	Nor is it only about withholding military aid and a White House meeting as pressure.
0:52.7	Did these new phone records put all of that into a time frame and potentially expose
0:59.2	a plan or scheme, call it what you will, stretching back months involving many of the President's
1:04.8	closest allies, including none other than Congressman Devon Nunes, who is the ranking Republican
1:10.7	on the Intelligence Committee who for months has attacked the investigation.
1:15.0	And as you know, spent much of the hearings trash-talking them.
1:18.1	So as you listen to this, him trash-talking the very hearings he's overseeing or partly
1:25.2	overseeing, remember that.
1:29.4	This is a carefully orchestrated media smear campaign.
1:34.7	What you've seen in this room over the past two weeks is a show trial.
