We're following breaking news on the urgent push to pass an emergency COVID-19 relief bill.

The House just followed the Senate and approving a key step toward

allowing Democrats to pass the legislation without GOP support. This

last President Biden is building his case for quick action, making it clearer than ever, really,

that he's prepared for Democrats to go it alone.

In a speech on the economy, the President offered his strongest criticism yet of Republicans who in his words either want to do

nothing or not enough.

The White House meanwhile is citing a dismal new jobs report in defending its nearly

two trillion dollar package.

The US adding only 49,000 jobs in January,

suggesting a very gloomy outlook

for economic recovery here in the United States.
