Lalone really probably should have been fired last season.

Let's face it.

13 wins this year. Didn't get it done. Team just

couldn't finish. Look lackluster. Every time you thought he was about to get fired, they would go

out and win a game, and then it would extend him. It would put him on life support. Finally,

Stevie Y just pulled the plug and said said enough is enough. He is gone.

And now we have to wait and see. And as I said before, I don't think Eisenman's going to get

another crack at this. General manager is kind of like athletic directors in college. You only

get to make two hires. The third hire, it normally means you got

fired. You don't get to that point. This is his second hire. This is his second coach that he's

bringing in on a long-term deal. It's got to work. Now, they don't have the players right now.

They don't. But what you're hoping is that McClellan can motivate the guys that he has

and you can get that new coach bounce.

And all of a sudden, this team can go back and compete.

Like last year, we simply just wanted them to be in the graphic,

try to make the playoffs, even if it was the final
