All right, now we're to go here in the Brock and Salk show, an opportunity to talk some hockey because of Cracken or on a heater, Brock, so we'll do that with John Foresland, who's up in 30 minutes. How could you not? with the Mariners doing what they did this season, with the Seahawks doing what they've done this season, you know, rising tide lifts all boats, sulk, even the cracking from the depths that they were in at one point is lifted the cracking off of the ground. And so yeah, he's just a, he's just a blast to talk to. So we'll do that coming up at 930. Trash takes after that.

Yeah, the same conversation's been really interesting this week and just hearing, you know, how polarizing it is. And I think honestly, I thought that both Joel and Brian Walters made really good points that were very compelling regarding Sam Darnold. Like it's really easy to kind of- And DJ's right in the middle. Like on one side of it, you've got Joel who's just like, I'm sorry, my eyes just don't trust them. I just can't get away from some of the stumbles and the bumbles and the shanks and the hooks. And he loves them and he should love him because Sam plays the game the way that Joel preaches all the time. If you listen to Joel's broadcasts, on time, on target, accuracy, connect your feet and eyes, all these things that, you know, Joel had to do as a player, right? Because he wasn't the biggest and the strongest and the strongest arms. When I asked him, do you trust him? Do you trust Sam Darnold? No, I'm sorry. That's why I can't. Right? Like he wasn't close. What would it take? I think they're going to have to win the Super Bowl. Because at some point, because we've seen him in his career look great for an extended period. And then all of a sudden it's like, well, there's the three turnover game.

Is that true for everyone then?

I went off from there. But you get the idea. That was sort of the. So that's one side of it. Right. That's one playing partner in your foursome. Yep. The other side was Brian Walters right there who's quoting Patrick Mahomesstats and saying, And listen, I mean, the body of work over these last two years when he's been in good organizations,

the only guy that's won as many games, Tom Brady, 14 wins and 14 wins. There's one guy in the history of this league and back-to-back years that has won 14 games or more. And that would be Tom Brady and, of course, Sam Darnold. And the interceptions, the same as Mahomes in his last two years as he's won Super Bowl. So there's one end of it, there's the other, and then right in the middle is DJ. And then you could probably, Brock, you don't have to just go to our guest because we got plenty of sound in here as well. well i've got a lot here i got that from br Bruce Ariens. I also have Isaiah Standback yesterday with Bump and Stacy. I really think of Sam Darnasba, inconsistent. There's one week's spot going into the playoffs that I'm just kind of giving me the bubble guts. It's Sam Darno's play. You kind of get the bubbly.

You want to take the pink drink, you know, every time, every game,

because you just don't know what you're going to get out of him. You know, some games he shows up, and he looks like Sam Darnold of last year, and in other games he shows up, and it just looks like he's seeing ghost. He's running a scare, and he has happy feet in the back field. he's not able to fall through on his passes and he's inaccurate.
