But we're going to return to what we started the day with. Wings have a big game tonight.

And I don't laugh. I know it's November. Hockey's a weird sport. I know the blues were dead last

in January and won the Stanley Cup. But for our purposes, the wings have been skating in the dark. It's an awful start

to their season. They had an awful West Coast trip. They lost to an awful San Jose team. They are

awful metrically in almost any metric you want to pull. They are a dreadful hockey team right now.

And tonight, you're rested, you're at home, the islanders are gutted by injuries,

and there's no easy games in the NHL.

But this is a game that, from a scheduling standpoint, you hear me talk about it in the NBA.

There are league games.

This is a league game for you tonight.

And whether it's Dylan Larkin, who wears the sea, whether it is Patrick Kane, whether it is

anyone in that locker room was established. And Derek Lillone, let's be clear, but Lalone doesn't

play. He coaches. It is the idea that you are supposed to come out tonight and respond and win this game.

And if you don't, here is my question.

If you don't win tonight, should Derek Lalone be fired?

The only thing that precludes a coach being fired is addressing and talking about the noise of him being fired,

which he did in that audio we played.

I don't know if it's the right move.

When I have a strong opinion, I'll tell you.

Now, do I find Derek Lalone very motivating?
