All right, final hour this morning, Brock and Salk, just chatted with Jeff Passon.

I'm going to come back to some of that, maybe at 9.30.

We did a breaking news this morning that the Seahawks have themselves a new edge rusher,

Dante Fowler, Jr., who's been around for quite some time.

I mean, he was a first-round pick, number three overall pick, started his career in Jacksonville, spent, what, two and a half, three-and-a-half years there, onto the Rams, then to Atlanta for two, then Dallas for two, Washington for one, back to Dallas last

year before finally coming here for the upcoming season, 6-3-260, listed as an outside linebacker,

has played defensive and both. Who is he? Yeah, there's kind of a good mix of, I think,

DeMarcus Lawrence and Nguessu. Kind of in between those two? I think he's kind of in between those two. I don't think he's got some of like, you can see DeMarcus Lawrence. And even though the numbers, height, weight are probably very similar. DeMarcus just feels enormous. It just feels like a monster. His arms are so long and, and Uchena doesn't feel like

as long as that, right? But he's super powerful. Yeah, super, super strong. And I think a fowler at

his best is kind of a cross between those two guys. Play that Hockbocker sound. That was from,

that was from last week when Brian joined joined you talking about you know why it's

kind of like that passing conversation be careful about just e r a be careful about just the base

numbers get under the hood a little bit and pro football focus has allowed this and certainly brian is

well versed in it this was last year we're on paper only three and a half sacks, but a lot more damage done. Dante Fowler, the thing that was interesting, I thought Von Miller was a pretty good bet because he actually had talked to the Seahawks last year, has expressed some regret for not coming. But if you look at pass rush win rates, Dante Fowler Jr. would have had the highest pass rush win rate of any Seahawks edge last year. Higher than anybody else. Higher the boy Maffa, higher than DeMarckels, all those guys. And Vaughan Miller, Cam Jordan, who are other names people like, they put up sack numbers, but their actual pass rush win rates were pretty low. Like definitely career lows. And that, I think, matched my eyes when I watched those guys.

I think they've lost no surprise at their age, a lot of juice.

So Dante Fowler with a connection to Add and Dirty, it just makes a lot of sense.
