And here's Rod Wood at the league meetings,

basically saying they were never in the game for a top edge rusher in free agency or trade

market. He reiterated the Lions remain committed to, quote, trying to make sure we don't overcommit

today so that we can't take care of our own guys in an interview with the free press.

Hey, guys in Lionsland, if I could have got you Crosby or Hendrickson, which one of

those guys would you have let go?

Answer, don't give a rat's ass.

I would love for you to call and tell me that you would not take that deal.
