And we'll do that with Justin Toole, who is the director of the farm system, kind of director of player development for the Mariners.

And I do want to hear a little bit more about the call up and the process and what they've got going here with Colt Emerson.

And then some of these other young guys, because the pipeline continues to be tremendous for the Mariners with a lot of these young players.

And so we'll talk to Justin tomorrow at 830 Brock.

In the meantime, it's hard to get away from a story like last night. If you were watching the game,

you had to just have the sense of like, what in the world am I watching? Because it didn't look

like any other baseball game that you see, right? You end up watching Bryce Miller

throw five dominant innings, no hit into the sixth. And then with two outs in the sixth,

that's 72 pitches, he's out of the game. Okay, well, you got to bring in a lefty in that spot.

All right, I can kind of understand it.

But it all kind of works out for Luis Castillo to do the piggyback. And he looks great for an inning, not good for an inning, but gets out of it. And then to go back out in the ninth, okay, if he's going to go out in the ninth, then you're probably finishing the nine. Like, then you're saying, I don't want to use Andres Munounoz tonight but instead he walks two batters then you get the strikeout but the strikeout comes while the manager tries to go
