I'm going to give you a piece of NFL news and rumors and it actually does involve the New York

Jets as odd as it sounds because Gino Smith is here. So why would they be connected to Kyler Murray at all? Gino's going to be the starter. It's clear. And Kyler Murray is a free agent. And as much as I may have preferred him, the Jets didn't sign him, whether he was not interested or what. But I want to read you the latest report around Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray's agent confirmed that today he will be visiting the Minnesota Vikings.

And it's likely that's where he'll sign.

Makes sense.

But according to Tom Pellisero,

Kyler Murray plans to meet on Zoom Wednesday night, yesterday and Thursday,

with executives from three to five teams that, quote,

potentially have a quarterback need in

2027.

What?

Yes.

It gives Murray an opportunity to get a head start on free agency next year.

So he's either saying, I'm signing a one-year deal or I'm going to play baseball for a year. Well, no. So he's basically signing a one-year deal. He is likely to sign a one-year deal for $1.3 million, which is a steal, but because Arizona's paying so much, that's certainly on the table. And so because of that, Kyler Murray is likely, according to Mike Flurio, to make sure there's

no tag clause in his contract, which you can negotiate.

And I'm sure the Vikings will give.

And Kyler's agent, apparently, is trying to get a head start on next year.

And that's where it involves the Jets.

Yeah, because the Jets have to be in that conversation.
