| 0:37.1 | right now in this moment also not taking siennaienna, but I think Duke's going to hang on there. So we'll see. I have a question to start that I understand, like, look, we don't definitively know the answer to, but I just wanted to kind of see. |
| 0:53.3 | I don't think a great start. I know, but I wanted to see kind of see. That sounds like a great start. |
| 0:54.5 | I know, but I wanted to see kind of, you have really, really great insight here. |
| 0:59.2 | Bump was wondering earlier like, hey, some of these other running backs in free agency were |
| 1:04.0 | technically way more affordable for Seattle than keeping K-9, who obviously signed with the |
| 1:09.2 | chiefs on a great deal. |
| 1:11.4 | Why didn't they go for them? |
| 1:12.6 | And we were wondering, like, well, did they get outbid or do they really like the pieces |
| 1:16.8 | they have? |
| 1:18.3 | How do you, what sense do you get about the confidence that McDonald and Schneider |
| 1:22.7 | might have in the existing running back room right now? |
| 1:26.0 | You know, well, they have confidence in the guys for sure. |
| 1:28.2 | Like they, we heard over and over again sometimes without even asking about George Hollani, how much they liked what he gave them down the stretch there when Zach Charbonnet was hurt. You know, I do think they expect Charbonnet to be a big part of that offense at some point during the season. We don't know yet when that will be. and then, you know, kind of the guy I think we might be forgetting about is Kenny McIntosh, who looked really good late in the 2024 season when he got a chance and then was having a good camp before he got hurt. So, you know, you combine that with, you know, Adam Manuel Wilson. I think they've got pieces they like. Now, in terms of not sign other guys, I'm sure they were talking about it, and maybe they did get out bit. I mean, I haven't seen or heard anything definitive about, you know, oh, they offered this guy X amount of money. But obviously, you know, losing Ken Walker, that's a position they've looked at. So I'm sure there are conversations. But, you know, John Schneider always likes to talk about it's a year-long process. So just because I haven't signed somebody by now, they still could. They could make a trade. Obviously, there's the draft out there still. So, you know, I doubt they're done at running back. I'd say that. What do you say about the safety position? You got Ronnie Thomas over there. You got Ty O'Cotta. Do you feel like they should address that position in the draft, or do you think they're pretty solid with what they have? You know, I think with any position, it's sort of, if the draft falls the right way, you do it, but you don't want to force it. It's also a little trickier when, you know, currently they have four picks, so you can't hit every need with four picks. The way Ty O'Cotta played with as big of a body work as he had has to really help them feel better about where they're at. It's not this, hey, we loved what we saw in practice. He started 11 games and played really well. So if they want to go that route, he's available. I think they're pretty high on what Roddy Thomas can bring if he gets up to speed in the system. And then, you know, again, |
