How's the know, Paul. Thanks for taking my call. Hey, the gentleman you interviewed earlier made a comment about Franklin, and I think he used the phrase,

what have you done for me lately, and that was part of the firing.

About three years ago, when the USC job was open and Franklin was mentioned in regards to a possible hire for it. I called you and I said that maybe not a majority, but a good chunk of the Penn State fan base would not lose sleep over him taking the USC job.

And that was because he already had a rep at the time of not being able to win a big game.

Since then, three years later, hasn't beat Michigan, hasn't been in Ohio State.

The CFP expansion to the 12 teams was made for Penn State.

He got to the semifinal last year against the weakest track to get there.

Nothing against SMU or Boise State.

But when the seating came out, everyone talked about how Penn State had an easy track.

This year, he built it up himself into the year that it was the best personnel he ever had.

He went out and got the best defensive coordinator of the nation.

Got three whiteouts, all starters, they're fixed a whiteout problem.

And then the team fell apart.

It's a dumpster fire.

This has been coming for a while.

And I get it. there's probably schools out there

four wins out of 25 in a 12 year span against the top 10 team there schools out there would

take it and be happy the Penn states of blue blood heat no pockets boosters fan base etc
