During our last commercial break, I went out into our beautiful newsroom and there was dueling TVs on.

One had Pete Alonzo being introduced as a Baltimore Oriole, and the other one had Edwin Diaz being introduced as an L.A. Dodger.

So what a double whammy of a Friday for MET fans.

We obviously know they left. We know they signed with those

teams. But today, the visual. Today, the audio, the why'd you go here? What do you think of this?

What do you think of that? And honestly, for the mental health of Met fans, don't pay attention to it.

Like, I'm not going to play any audio. We're going to move on. Like, it's over.

Diaz is a Dodger. Alonzo is a Met. Did he take any shots?

So I'm trying not to listen. Yeah. But I don't think, not that you were listening, you would have just heard. Pete talked about, you know, commitment from the top down with organizations and the Orioles

definitely have it.

So some could take that as a shot at the Mets.

Look, Pete Alonzo got offered far more years than money.

Diaz is complicated.

I think that Diaz presser would actually be more interesting because you can try at least to say what happened. Why didn't you take it back? Now, he's doing a Dodger press conference, so his easy answer could be, I want to be a Dodger. Well, I mean, he kind of said that. This was his quote on Edwin Diaz leaving the Mets. It wasn't easy. They treated me great. I chose the Dodgers because they're a winning organization, and they have everything to win.

It would be pretty easy to win.
