So Fernando Mendoza, I didn't even ask you, how do you feel about that?

That he right now sounds like kind of the leader in the clubhouse for the number one pick in the Jets.

How do I feel about it?

It's a great question.

I mean, if you were a Jets fan, seeing what we do to young quarterbacks, how do you think I would feel about it? I think you'd feel meh about it. Right. It doesn't matter? Well, for a couple of reasons. A, I mean, not that he's not fine or even good.

I don't think he jumps off the page as being great.

Like I've heard a lot of Kirk Cousins comps for him. And I don't really trust the Jets at all right now. That's my bigger issue is I don't trust the Jets in general. At this point, I don't know how you would trust this coaching staff. Right? Like, I mean, it doesn't feel like Aaron Glenn knows what he's doing. You don't love what you've seen from Tanner Engstrand right now. So, I mean, I don't, you chose, like this regime chose to move off of Aaron Rogers. And their answer to that was, let's bring in Justin Fields and give him 30 million bucks. Correct. Yeah. Right. And then haven't won a game.

And they haven't run four times against Carolina. And you look like you're outclassed and outcoached in many of these games. And you don't score touchdowns when it's, you know, for the most part, meaningful. And you haven't scored a touchdown in weeks. And I don't know. Listen, even if you're saying,

let's give Aaron Glenn more chance and more leash in next year and, you know, like some time, you can't feel good about what he is right now. No, of course you can't. I mean, and Mel's like, oh, you got to, I mean, you can't, you got to be patient. Well, I mean, if they win one game. Well, Mel also sat here and said, Oh, patient could be.
