Best case scenario for the Cracken, they lose out, resign McMahon, and find some scoring.

Yeah, but we've said that every year, right? Amen, Salk. Their just, ownership is just hoping to luck into a playoff spot in year two for the past three years. They're afraid of being bad to the point that they aren't willing to risk being great, which is why guys like Eberley get re-signed twice to be a top line winner. I agree on that. And I like Jordan Eberley. I think he's got a place on the team. I like him being the captain. He's not a top-line winger. I think he knows that. I think he knows that. You're asking someone to do more and be more than who they are. And so do I think the leadership is broken? No.

But I think that everyone who's here looks at it.

And guys, you can't, Brock, you can't fool the room. You know that. You can't fool the room. And they look around and like, wait a minute. Jordan Eberle, he's great player. He's our best player. Well, that's not a team that's going to win. Right. It's just not.

Maddie Baneer is a good player, but like he's not Macklin-Cellebrini or Connor Baderd or, or, you know, any of the great players in the, you know, McKinsey, not any of them, McKinnon, excuse me, he's not one of those guys. That's not who he is, good player. You want those guys on your team and stars elite talent
