Here's something to keep an eye on.

Will the Tigers go to Turek Scouble on one day rest to try to get some of the final nine outs that they're working on to advance?

I bring that up because both the Yankees and the Red Sox are in the same situation.

Garrett Crochet on the Boston side, Max Fried on the Yankee side.

How aggressive will either manager be to try to grab an out or two or three or four from an ace on one day rest?

We mentioned earlier in the show.

Randy Johnson's done it.

Clayton Kirshaw's done it.

I don't know how willing Alex Cora and Aaron Boone will be to use their aces.

But the Tigers could be at least a sample with AJ Hinch and

it doesn't feel like an Aaron Boone thing to do or to request and ask of his star as ace pitcher.

So I doubt we'll see Max Free, but you never know.

It is a winner-take-all situation right now, all hands-on decks.

feeling are you okay and then usually they got to say i got you skip

I can get somebody out.

So we'll keep an eye on that in the Tiger Guardian game and obviously continue to preview the Yankees.
