Aaron Boone spoke, and here's what he said.

This was his message after the all-star break.

Talk to the group, you know, after the final game in Baltimore there and let's give it all we got now.

You know, we're kind of at that, I guess not totally at the sprint point of the season, but almost

a hundred games into this thing now.

We've gone through a tough stretch that we certainly acknowledge and

know we need to play better, which I think feel like on that trip started to hopefully

turn the corner and get back rolling

and obviously a tough loss to end it but starting to do some better things and

then also acknowledging like we've put ourselves in a really good position to go

accomplish all our hopes and dreams and we set out to be a championship club and that's still right there for us to attain and starts with obviously an important home stand against a very good Tampa club.

I understand what Aaron's saying, but one thing that I don't get is everybody keeps saying, you

know what, I heard Don say it earlier in the week.

They're in a good spot.

You know, they're one game out starting the second half of the season.

They were running away with it.
