So the Yankees more bad news is they start this three-game set.

Tomorrow's starter was supposed to be Nester Cortez and the Yankees just announced that Nester Cortez has been put on the 15-day IO with left rotator cuff strain.

That's the injury that he was on the IL for 2.5 months for.

So he came back, he pitched four and he's pitched very well, struck out eight.

Now he has said that he will not pick up a baseball for another month.

So we've seen the last of him in 2023 and the only way to root is that he doesn't have a rotator cuff tear, which would be catastrophic for him and the Yankees.

Because Tommy John surgery is fairly routine, rotator cuff surgery is not.

So you never know if you're going to return to form and then you have to miss most of next year.

So that is a huge, huge factor.

So Yankees at this point do not have a starter listed for tomorrow.

And now the Yankees are making history tonight by the way everybody, because Ian Hamilton will start the second straight game for the Yankees.

He started Wednesday in Chicago, pitch the scoreless first inning and then they brought in Severino.

And he's starting today against the Moorlands.

So who will they have come out of the bullpen, maybe Randy Vasquez, maybe Johnny Brito.

In the era of the opener, Michael, are we seeing is it very common for people to start multiple games in a row?

I don't know if it's common because usually you'd bring in, you know, there'd be a different type of pitcher you'd want to face a different type of lineup.

And also I don't think pitchers are that scarce that you'd have a couple of openers in a row.

I mean the Yankees right now don't have a pitching staff other than Cole.

So they're going to make do with some combination of Vasquez and Brito and all right.

So Hermann's out for the rest of the year.
