Well, it's happened at game four.

We can actually say this is a literal must win

for the New York Yankees. They win, they force a game five with Garricole on the mound.

They lose and they go home.

It's over. Now they're one of the last two teams standing, but obviously

the mission statement for all these many years since George Steinberger bought the team in

1973 was championship robust and if you got swept in the the world series it would obviously be a bust. I am not of that thought process where you just go absolutely crazy and say the whole thing is a failure but getting swept is a bad look

but they had you know the best record in the American League they won the American League

pennant and they're going into game four with an opportunity to be swept again. It's a myriad of emotions

But to say that the whole season was a failure is just it's tough to do well. It's all a process

Right and let's forget about the stupid mission statement, all right? It's not even realistic.

It's looking at this team right now and saying, are they good enough to win a championship?

They were good enough to go to the World Series, but are they good enough to win a championship?

And right now it looks like it's no.

So we talked about this with Alex.

I mean, the first order of business is Juan Soto.

But even beyond that, Michael, you talked talked about they don't have a lot of

alternatives they don't have any kind of bench you know there's only so much they can

do with this batting order you've got some kids in there that maybe just aren't ready.
