It's this weird dichotomy like this is the most beautiful place that I've ever been in my life and you know

I'm biased. I've been combination since I was a kid so I'm very, you know

emotionally connected to it, but you know

Maui itself and what we're talking about is specifically West Maui

Which is where places famous like Kahnapali or Kapalua famous for sports clay, you know golf tournaments in both of those locations

Um sit on that West Maui just outside of the town of Lahaina and it's it's um in modern day time

really the only

The big logistical center point of town is like 13 of the whole area

It's only 13,000 people, but all the resorts all the you know

Any type of place here depends on Lahaina for not just groceries and banking and health care

But for for labor like everybody who works here all the locals they live in Lahaina

It's where their home is
