Turn our attention to the NFL. A couple of notes, couple of things, and look the Lions pre-season game.

A, thank God the preseason's over. Now you just have practice and camp and the countdown. These games are morbid. But two things jump out after the last game and I want to know which of them you're more concerned about.

Because I think I know what my answer is.

A, I don't get it with Henan Hooker.

I mean, I watch.. Wow did you see him

scrambled for six yards? Yeah. Vanilla schemes. You're playing dudes that are

going to be working at Ben, working at Sherman Williams next week.

But the other one is Jake Bates.

Missed an extra point last week, Mr. Chip shot field goal this week. And before you say, well, they're not going to use their

kicker, I agree with you, there will be a time. You're forced to. There will be a time where the

analytics can't save you and with 18 seconds left on fourth and four from the 39 yard line I gotta take a 55 yard

56 yard I just my quet look for the backup QB people I'll leave it to you but RICO I'm

being serious this is a team that wants to make a Super Bowl of these two things that have been these weird

pre-season rallying cries are we sure we want to go with a kicker that has no

NFL pedigree I know right Aubrey last year for the Cowboys, same situation.

He turned out to be stupendous. You could go and get another kicker. Riley Patterson got cut loose the other day.

Are we sure about Jake Bates?

That's where I'm at between these two.

We're not sure about Jake Bates, but Mike I don't think the team prioritizes a

kicker so therefore if you don't care about it why should I care about it because
