Breaking news in just the last couple of minutes, another, there are going to be a lot of polls.

And you might say, okay, well, why do you pay attention to the polls?

Because honestly, they're all telling us the same story, which is this is going to be a margin of error election.

But it also seems to be the case that Kamala Harris has begun to run a bit, at least, into a wall of support.

And it has begun, in other words, she's reached her maximum level of support, and she now may be

retrenching as we sit exactly six weeks from the election. CNN has a poll out today that shows

Kamala up one point. A poll that just came down from Kwynipiac has Trump up one point nationwide.

This is significant because Kamala probably needs to win nationwide, at least based on

the metrics from 2016 and 2020, Kamala would need to win by at least two and a half, maybe

three points nationwide to be able to win

the electoral college because Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, all of those states,

the so-called blue wall states are a little bit right of center.

That means if she is declining support in New York and California,

she's still going to win those states,

but she really risks losing all these close states.

And this is why I would say some of the state polls have been problematic for her.
