He's one of the most powerful people in the Democrat Party.

Joe Biden practically got on his knees

and begged Jim Clyburn for his backing when Joe Biden was running in a primary because with it,

Joe Biden could win South Carolina and without it, he was probably going to lose that primary.

That's how powerful this person is.
