We appreciate all of you who've been listening to us all week long hope

that you are going to have fantastic weekends we'll certainly be back with you on

Monday but there's been a lot of negativity out there. I who were usually a huge optimist have undoubtedly

succumbed to some elements of negativity, whether it's Arizona associated with an 1864 law on abortion being elevated the law

the land there whether it's frankly OJ dying and spending time going back thinking

about 30 years ago and how OJ might be covered today, but I want to

give you some optimism as we roll into this third hour and as we head into the weekend.

A couple of stories out there that got my eye, one in the Wall Street Journal, one in the New York Times,

Buck. Let's start with the Wall Street Journal. And I mentioned this I think off the top of the show and said I was going to discuss it.

I said on this show that I thought 25% of black men might be willing to vote for Donald Trump in 2024.

That would be a substantial jump from what the numbers reflected in 2020, and I said that's why I think Trump is going to pick Tim

Scott as his running mate South Carolina Senator Tim Scott because I think

Trump sees this and he sees an opportunity to make inroads into Joe Biden's base

primarily through black men. I think it's going to be harder to move black women who

are really the focal point of the Democrat Party. 96% of them vote Democrat, unprecedented across racial and gender

...
