Oh, Ole Miss. Okay. Yeah. So Keith Carter is the athletic director at the University of Mississippi. Better known as Ole Miss. And he went on the mornings with Richard Cross podcast.

And so there's nothing more symbolic of the age we're in than the athletic director taking to a mini media tour to clear the air of what really happened.

So Keith Carter went on with Mr. Cross and said that Lane Kiffin, who was up there at the podium,

after taking the LSU job, saying that he had no idea he would not be able to coach Ole Miss

through the college football playoff. Well, that's, that's just not true.

There's been a lot of things he said publicly that I'm not sure are totally accurate.

You know, I think that both coach and his representation knew, you know, several weeks ago

that coaching in the playoffs was not going to be an option if he was not the Ole Miss head coach.

You know, I think that.

So him finding out at 8.30 on Sunday morning for the very first time that he would not be coaching the playoff is not accurate? No, that's not accurate. All right. Lane Kiffin looks ridiculous in all this. Well, this also does make great. Do you remember what he said about his players? That they desperately wanted him to be the head coach. Well... I don't think the way he portrayed that meeting was accurate. You know, there was a lot of pushback to him leaving. You know, it was really one of those things where these guys knew they needed coaches to coach the game, Richard. It was sounding like he was going to take, you know, all the offensive staff with him if they didn't, you know didn't coach in the game and so there's a lot

of discussion around that but but i think begging for him to stay is is certainly an overstatement

and um you know i think that uh you know our players are starting to to show you know maybe what
