Well, I was wrong because the Tampa Bay raised this morning are three and a half games behind the Yankees,

mainly because the Yankees got

swept and the race swept the Mets. So sorry about that. So I am wrong that the lead has gotten

closer than I would have imagined, but I still think the Yankees will win the ALEs comfortably.

But you look at this division, the state of this division. Tampa Bay, of course, sweeping the

Mets. And they've played really well in the month of June overall as well. I think they're about 18 and 7 in their last

25 games. The Toronto Blue Jays are five games above 500. They lost three in a row, getting

swept by the Philadelphia Phillies. And while the Red Sox are hot, and they've won five in a row,

including five out of six against the Yankees, they just traded Rafael Devers.

So Tiki Barber, and let's not forget the Orioles who've won three in a row,

10 games under 500, 12 games out.

Who is right now in your mind the biggest threat to the Yankees in the ALEs?

I think it's got to be the team that's just right there, and that's Tampa Bay.

Not that I think that they're better than the New York Yankees, but it feels like they're hot at the right time.

And if a team is going to snatch the division, or at least get close to snatching it from the Yankees, it'll be Tampa at least for a little while.

But I don't think it's ultimately, I agree with you.

I think the Yankees win the division and probably do so in convincing fashion, but I don't think the Yankees are going to run away with this division.

Remember this with Tampa Bay, and I know they just won three games at City Field,

so I say this with full knowledge of that.
