I mean, there's a lot of different ways that you can connect. Brock, I've made it pretty clear. The number one thing I think the Mariners need to do better is pitch. Fine. But if I could pick one guy, I mean, this is such a stupid exercise in some ways because like, what if Cal hits three home runs? Will they win? Yeah, probably. Like, there's a lot of ways to do this.

But I will, for your sake, point at one of my favorite players, who I know is not always one of yours, and say, if Randy a Rosarena could just get on base more often, it would really help this team.

Yep.

I love me some Randy, but a 278 on base.

Now, to his credit, he is taking some walks.

He is.

I know it doesn't feel like he's taken nearly enough of them, but he's taken a couple of walks

in this series, one in the last series, and that's at least help the on base percentage be, you know, 100 points higher than the batting average, but it's still under 300.

Like, Randy's got to get on base.

I went looking this morning because one of the things I love about Randy is that he doesn't swing that often.
