Unfortunately, the New York Jets and the New York Giants are playing games that really don't mean much. We open the show talking about what are you actually looking forward to and watching the Jets and Giants? I can tell you this. As a football fan, there is something I'm very passionate about. And it really hit me over the last week as I've given the thought. And I've looked at the standings and I've analyzed the schedule and I've looked at the schedule over the next few weeks and I don't know how many people feel

this way because I know that the team I'm about to mention is hated by many I really am rooting

passionately for the Kansas City Chiefs. How come? Because the NFL playoffs without the Kansas

City Chiefs will just be missing something.

New and different?

Well, that's a way to look at it.

I mean, that's how you should look at it.

Nah.

Isn't that the purpose of playing a sport?

Is that it's not always the same?

Yes, but I want them there to at least get knocked off by the new and different team.

The challenge with the chiefs continually going back is that they're not hateable.

Maybe that's why I find myself rooting for them.

The Patriots, when they were the dynasty of the NFL, they felt hateable.

Yes.

For so many different reasons.

Obviously, locally here for the Jets and because they're in a division, but they just felt like, dynasty of the NFL. They felt hateable. Yes. Oh, big time. So many different reasons. Big time.

Obviously locally here for the Jetson because they are in the division, but they just felt like, all right, you have this scandal, you have this cheating thing, you have Tom Brady's getting paid under the table, allegedly. Like all these things that were going on. Right. It just felt like, I hate that team. And the coach was like a pain in the butt.

So they were good to hate.

And the chiefs aren't.

Andy Reid's a big teddy bear. You just want to squeeze. Yes. Right? And Patrick Mahomes is a likable superstar. At least to me, I mean, I can't speak for everybody. But I just know that one of the most appealing games this weekend actually is occurring while the Jets and Giants are playing, which is unfortunate. It's a 1 o'clock game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis Colts. And I know that maybe some giant fans have interest because of the Daniel Jones stuff. I have interest because I know the Kansas City Chiefs are basically in a spot where they have to win every single week to make the postseason, and I want to see them make the postseason.
