I mean, it's Independence Day weekend.

I feel like what could be better?

I'm hearing the speech given by, is it Bill Pullman, who's the president's in Independence Day?

They just did a 25-year anniversary version of that.

Did you see it on social?

That movie, so does that movie for you, does that qualify as so bad it's good or just so classic that you don't care that it's absurd?

Like, for me, first of all, you look at some of the other movies that that director's made.

They're awful beyond worse.

You know, it's watchable.

It's watchable.

I've always been a Will Smith guy.

I like Will Smith.

I like it.

And it is, there are certain movies that everybody has them that you're nostalgic love for trumps any legitimate defense that you could make for it if it came out today.

Yeah, like, I think Ghostbusters is one of the ten best movies ever made, even though I know that would not stand up to a film school, you know, cinema debate, but I love it.

I will tell you, Ghostbusters is still really good.

The way that I judge them, Buck, and this is one of the great things about having kids, and I know a lot of our listeners out there, maybe even grandkids, I got to relive my childhood by watching all the movies that I loved as a kid, Goonies, Indiana Jones trilogy, Star Wars. Which holds up super well, by the way, all those movies do. So well.

And that's the way you get to judge them is through your kids' own eyes.

Are they still good to them, even 30, 40 years later without the same technology and everything
