Republican Senator and Presidential candidate Tim Scott, Senator Scott. Good to have you back on the

program, sir. Well, thank you very much. Thank you both for having me back. I'm excited to be back.

So we want to talk to you obviously about the race and all of that, you know, in a moment here,

I was going running for president and all that, but I did want to start if I could with your

reaction to the Supreme Court ruling today on admissions and the use of race as a factor. What are

your biggest takeaway, Senator? I think the biggest takeaway for me is that progress in America

is palpable. We can literally feel the progress in the air. I thank God Almighty that the story of

America is not the story of an original sin. It is a story of redemption. We see that playing out

every single day as we continue to strive towards a more perfect union. And frankly, today is

better than yesterday. This year is better than last year. This decade is better than last decade.

So judging people on the content of their character, not the color of their skin, is what I consider

being an American. No doubt. And so when you actually look at this, there are overwhelming

majorities of Americans who agree with you. We were talking about that earlier in the program,

even a majority of Democrats. And certainly, I'm sure you've seen the vote that happened in California
