Senator Scott appreciate you being on the program. Are you doing?

Yes, thank you for being here. So the border is by the numbers.

Oh, but the most wide open, the most lawless and the worst it has ever been.

Um, you are trying to focus in on this. Uh, what do you think that the steps should be?

I mean, what what should be laid out? We know the Biden administration is not going to take

any action to make this better in the next year. What do you think a Republican administration

if a, if it has a majority in the Senate on the House could or should do to deal with the border

issue? Well, number one, what we got to do is we have to put up real barriers.

And then we have to have real monitoring and what's going on at our border. So some

places you're going to have to have walls, some places that's going to make you need, you know,

just technology, whether it's drones or lights and roads and things like that.

You also need to be able to see what's happened in the border. So there's a lot of debris that

has been cleaned up around the, around the border. So you can see what's happening. People have time

to get there. And the other thing is you have to change our asylum laws. You know, you don't get to,

you don't get to come to this country unless you're really, you know, you can really prove you have,

you know, political persecution in your, in your home country. And then the last thing is,

even if you do, we've got to vet you. We've got to, you know, we've got to know that you want to

live our dream, not, you know, you don't want to be a supporter of a Hamas and Ms. Bala and the

Rand and her communist China. So I mean, that's it. If we actually did just that, which doesn't

actually cost that much money, we would have a share border. And we'd have a safer country. Right
