Welcome back to the show everybody and we are at Jet Camp as we've been all afternoon

and now we get a chance to talk to the big guy, the head guy, Robert Sol, the head coach

of the New York Jets, joins us here on the show. Coach, how you doing?

I'm doing great.

All right, a lot of expectations on this team. It seems like what you're preaching, let's run

into the light. Let's not run away from it. Is that cool? Is that a good way to put it?

Sure, absolutely. I mean, it's expectations or expectations you can never hide from them.

You know, one thing I learned about this market is whether you have an expansion team or playoff,

it doesn't matter. The expectation is it goes 17 and 0 and when you don't, it's Armageddon.

But it doesn't change what you have to do day after day after day after day in the process that we

have to go through to maximize who we are. So we can at least give ourselves a chance to get

the result we want. But you know, I've said it before, you can have the best day of your life and

still come up short. And that's okay, you know, as long as you know, you put your best foot forward

and you did everything you can. But we embrace the expectations. Did you embrace the hard knocks,

though? Tell us. Can you just take us through like what that process was, how you heard about it

and how the decision gets made and how much influence you have on that decision?

You know, it was way back, way before the draft, just the discussions and, you know, to create

to the credit of hard knocks in HBO, they were very, very outward. I'm looking for cooperative,

if you will, and just addressing the concerns that I had. And once they they addressed them and
