Rogers. The Phillies firing Rob Thompson. There's a lot going on in the world, not the least of

which is George Pickens being George Pickens. We'll get to that in just a moment with R.J. Choppy

of Sean and RJ on 1053, the fan in Dallas. And I don't think anybody's surprised by this, let's be

honest, but it's happening. In 20 minutes, something wild we think happened in the world of

betting. And I want to see if we can replicate it, plus a massive debut happening. As a lot have already happened in Major League Baseball this year,

we'll touch on that briefly, maybe two minutes for hockey as well,

all before we get to our three stars of the day and wrap it up.

But my good friend from Dallas, the Metroplex, R.J. Choppy jumps into the program now here on You Better You Bet, to talk about George bleeping Pickens, Choppy. Is that the way he's being referred to today in Dallas?

You know, he's not really being referred to anyway, because a lot of the people here don't really believe that he is going to ask to be traded

or that he is going to demand a trade. We heard the Shepter report, and that's a lot of people

are kind of trying to conflict with that report and say, that's not really the case. They

expect him to play on the franchise tag this year.

Look, as somebody who's been around this area long enough with David Milligan and the Cowboys to know,

he doesn't like his players to play on one-year deals on franchise tag.

So I'll believe that when I see it that George Pickens is going to play this year on the franchise tag.
