But I do want to talk about kind of a story of last night in the.

So Tom Brennan who is a long time his dad Marty just retired last year right as the radio voice of a synthetic reds and Thomas been the TV voice.

The local Fox Sports I think Ohio of the sense a reds of course he's also a colleague at Fox TV called a call a college basketball game with him.

He had a hot mic incident in which he said a home of phobic slur right and it got you got picked up because you and you're on the bird somebody's always listening.

And during the fifth inning with the reds up he must have been told like hey he's you're we're going to have to have you at the end of this inning like be suspended and you know take a break.

I mean I don't know if he was I don't think he was fired at that moment you know already he's been fired yet just been suspended.

But it led to one of the most bizarre apology circumstances ever take a listen.

I'm so very very sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith as here's a drive in a deep left field by.

And so that if I could afford nothing ball game I don't know if I'd be putting on this headset again I don't know if it's going to be for the reds.

I don't know if it's going to be for my bosses at Fox. I want to apologize for the people who signed my paycheck for the reds for Fox Sports Ohio for the people I work with for anybody that I've offended here.

Tonight I can't begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am that is not who I am and never has been and I'd like to think maybe I could have some people that think it back that up.

Yeah listen I am very very sorry and I beg for your forgiveness Jim Dale taking the rest of the way home.

That was that was it. Okay so there's a bunch to dig into by by the way if you really listen if you want to be a jerk and I've seen this from some people I like like well you actually apologize actually he did he apologized not just for himself but also for the when he said for the people who signed my paycheck he knows he represents all of those people and what he said resonates for all in representing them.

And so he apologized not to them but for them for peace for anybody who's offended by what he says whatever he's like he did the I'm sorry if you don't believe it that then you just you just don't want to ever believe anybody saying you're sorry right.

And again I have more with Tom a ton of work with them once he was great I don't I can't swear to any human beings character other than my own interactions with him and he seemed incredibly thoughtful to me personally.
