Monday night blowout the Kansas City Chiefs,

and you had, of course, this 18-inning Marathon World Series game that ends with a Freddie Freeman walk-off that, of course, reminded folks about last year's Freddie Freeman walk-off and now the Dodgers have this lead in this series coming off this game.

And you just felt like the team who won last night at the end of that thing was going to have a massive advantage going

forward just because that is a gut punch. I mean, you play that much baseball and lose. Especially as Springer is out for the Blue Jays. And you saw, I mean, I'm making an assumption. I don't know. I didn't see any. I mean, it's been you know, the game's only been over for four, five, four and a half hours, whatever it is. but it just seemed like he was going oblique, you know, it was like that, that flank thing that people talk about as well. You know, that's where he was grabbing towards his back. It could be a combination of the flank and the oblique. A little flank oblique spot. It could be, yes. And I don't, you know, who knows me, they can do what you and Al always want to shoot them up. Shoot them up and get him through the game and see if he can still play and see how long they, I don't know, they probably won't do that, but because he could really seriously hurt himself. Yeah, and I don't know what the injury is and if he could make it worse or not, but I'm sure the gamer that he is is going to do whatever he can to try to get out there if he can. I mean, the amazing thing is what Showy Otani has done in the playoffs.

And, you know, in that game-clinching game in the championship series where he hits three

home runs and pitches six innings, like last night, he, you know, has this amazing game,

two home runs,

two doubles, five walks, on base nine times. And now he's got to come back and pitch tonight.

I mean, that is nothing short of a miracle. It's amazing. It's really, and you know what,

he'll probably, you know, be interesting to say he pitches against this lineup because

this lineup's been hitting. It's not like it's not hitting. Yeah, I mean, they're going to need him to go deep into the game, too, after what happened last night. And just knowing him, he probably will. Yeah. But you have to remember the night before or the game before they didn't need anybody because they got a complete game from Yamamoto.

That's right. That is a good point. His second complete game of the postseason.

So, yeah, they have these two Japanese players that are just blown everybody away.

Yeah.

It is just, it's remarkable. And I look, you know, you say what you want about the Dodgers. They have a $450, $470 million payroll or whatever it is, plus all the luxury tax that they're paying and everything else. They have these two players. They could just go to Japan and just say, hey, look, you want to buy our games so we can show them in Japan. And they showed some Japanese fans, you know, watching a game last night. Well, night well of course yeah and so that's another

stream of money i'm assuming that they they get most of that money i i unless major league

baseball somehow some way is controlling that and a major league baseball is getting a piece of it

yeah i mean to i mean now if you're any one of these japanese players that is is coming out of

japan and going to the major leagues,
