And the longer spring training goes on,

without Montgomery or Snell sign, you're getting a compromise pitcher for the beginning of the season.

You're getting a pitcher who's going to hurry his way through preparing for the season in order to not miss opening day or not miss that much time.

Then you're getting a pitcher like

you got with Carlos Rodin who got hurt in spring training then rush and then

really got himself hurt and ended up missing half the season. I just can't see it.
